Studio 121 exists because Jonny and Matt wanted to build the gym they always wished existed.
How It Started
FROM HOSPITALITY TO SOUTHWELL'S LEADING PT STUDIO
Jonny and Matt didn't come from fitness backgrounds. They came from hospitality — an industry built entirely around people, service and experience. When they both retrained as personal trainers, they brought that mindset with them.
They launched Studio 121 with a simple idea: that a personal training studio should feel nothing like a commercial gym. Private, welcoming, expertly coached — and genuinely enjoyable to walk into every single time.
Seven years later, over 600 clients have trained with us. The team has grown. The studio has evolved. But the idea at the heart of it hasn't changed.

Located at Southwell Business Centre, Studio 121 is a fully-equipped private training facility. Every piece of kit has been chosen with purpose — from the racks and barbells to the cardio machines and recovery tools.
The studio runs on a booking-only basis. That means when you're here, it's yours. No sharing with strangers, no queuing for a machine, no distractions.
It looks like it means business. Because it does.
