No doubt you have delved deep into the depths of Google


Searching for the latest and best diet and gym routine


But your head is frazzled (rightly so, its a confusing place)


So lets simplify things for you and guide you on the right path:


Good Eating Habits


With our clients we highly recommend tracking food on the latest and greatest apps such as Myfitnesspal or Nutra Check


These are great for knowing how many calories you're consuming per day


Quite often it can surprise you how much you're actually eating without realising


It's worth investing your time in tracking your food for a week to see what's going on...


Eat Protein at Each Meal


Whether it be from meat, dairy, fish, protein powder or veggies if you're vegetarian


It's really important to get a good protein source in each meal of the day


As a guide, use the palm of your hand for a portion size. Aim for one portion per meal


Easy


Veggies & Fruits


We all know we need to eat more fruit & veg


But let's try and build it in as a habit


Fruits & veggies provide your body with the best nutrients to keep you healthy


As well as aiding in fat loss by keeping you full so you don't overeat


Hidden benefits


Portion wise, aim for a handful of veggies for each meal


Sleep, sleep & more sleep...


Again, we all know how important sleep is and how much we need good quality sleep


It makes it difficult these days with the stresses of day to day life...


Kids, stressful job etc etc


We recommend between 7-9 hours per night


Lack of sleep affects your energy levels, how much food you eat & what you crave and also your mood and performance


Regular Exercise


We like to see our clients twice per week for a whole body weights and cardio session


2 hours per week is not a lot and can be achieved by everyone


3 hours/sessions per week is great!


What most of our clients do is 2 sessions per week with us and one of our classes

Whilst also getting as many steps in per day as they can


So you're burning calories IN and OUT of the gym


Plan & Prep Your Meals


This can go hand in hand with point one with good eating habits


Some of the best results and transformations we have had include meal prep or meal planning ahead of time


This helps you avoid overeating and just reaching for food


You can bulk make your food and set the amount of calories in each meal also


Planning ahead of time saves you money and keeps you on track


One of the great things about the food tracking apps is that you can save your favourite recipes and make tracking that bit quicker because we are all pushed for time
